My name is David Sligar.

My background is in economic and social policy roles for central agencies of the Australian Government, and as an adviser for various Australian politicians, including as a chief economic adviser to leaders of a major party.

In addition, I’ve done a stint as a unit manager in economic development at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta.

Now I’m back to study, hoping to move in a different direction.

I’ve graduated in economics and sociology.

Finally, I’ve spent time as a carer, and I grew up in a single parent family in Campbelltown. I’ve lived in Sydney’s outer west, lower north shore, inner east and inner west, as well as in Canberra and Jakarta.

All opinions are entirely my own.
